TOUR DESCRIPTION

The first ones to appreciate the beauties of this tiny island were the Romans, and among them, the Emperor Tiberius, who lived in Capri, adorned it with fabulous villas. They called it “blue” after the sea which colors itself with tones that range from turquoise to blue.

We shall start our tour by walking to the terminal (10 min) where we will board a jetfoil that will cruise through the Bay of Naples upon arrival at Marina Grande of Capri.

We shall be transferred up by Minibuses to Anacapri along the winding road from where there are magnificent views over the island and the Gulf of Naples.

On the arrival at Anacapri we shall visit Axel Munthe’s splendid villa “S. Michele” before going to Capri Town.

Enjoy free time to wander around the famous “Piazzetta”, through the narrow streets, explore the shops, relax in an outdoor Café or see the sights that appeal to you. See the Augustus Gardens for a spectacular view on Faraglioni Rocks and Marina Piccola. Then we will proceed by Funicular back to Marina Grande to board a Jetfoil for the return trip to Naples.
